I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving San Ramon, Danville, Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore and surrounding cities. I provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, teenagers and families within my private practice located in San Ramon.
For over twenty years, I have provided psychotherapy and counseling within a variety of settings to clients struggling with various life challenges. I have successfully treated clients both in short-term and long-term therapy. In addition to providing individual and family therapy, my special interests and extensive experience involves working with teenagers and couples. I have substantial experience with crisis intervention/prevention issues including: depression & suicide, grief & loss, infidelity, child abuse, domestic violence, and substance abuse/dependency.
I obtained both my Master of Science degree in Counseling, and Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento. I continue to enhance my skills as a psychotherapist by staying current with the latest research and education through on-going attendance of seminars, conferences, and workshops, as well as frequent consultations with fellow colleagues.
I am an interactive, cognitive-behavioral therapist with a therapeutic approach of providing support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
With compassion, empathy and understanding, I work with clients to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing, whether it be through individual, couples, or family work.
